Haati Chai Signet Ring

Signet rings are a forever classic and timeless piece, something to be carried down through the families, and heirloom with stories. When Stella first mentioned for us to work on a heart signet, I was beyond excited. From though, to drawing, to conception and sampling, it was a very fun project. Unlike the popular circle or square signets, we decided to launch the signet collection with a bold Heart.  

Phase 1: Idea and Conception

From then, I worked more on the thickness of the band, and the way it should curve up. We had originally planned for the band it be a flat band, but later opted for a comfort fit round band on the base. The heart remained the same beautiful bold thickness. 

Fresh from casting, this piece is Sterling silver with a high shine finish. We are huge sticklers for high finish, and jewelry is only as good as the skill and effort behind the polisher. 

Custom BFF rings for us: for our first samples, I had to put BFF on our signets. Generally Stella and I don't really use the word BFF in our description of each other, but it doesn't mean that it's not a true and tried description. 

The heart signets, like all our rings, are engraveable on the inside, for those important dates. Here I engraved the Date that Stella and I first started working together as a unison.
